I agree that as a retail vendor, I must pay a booth fee of $50 to participate in SamFest, or as a food/beverage vendor, that I must donate 15% of sales that take place at the event. I agree to provide a copy of my Business Tax Certificate from the city of Grover Beach (45) days prior to the event. *

I hereby agree and give my permission for Remembering Sam Ford/SamFest and/or partners to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape myself (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Works”) and to display, publish or distribute these Works for the purpose of publishing, posting on the Remembering Sam Ford/SamFest website and posting on social media sites. I hereby waive any right to approve the use of these Works now or in the future, whether the use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to any royalties related to the use of these Works. I understand that the Works may appear in electronic form on the internet or in other publications outside of Remembering Sam Ford/SamFest’s control. I agree that I will not hold the Remembering Sam Ford/SamFest responsible for any harm that may arise from such unauthorized reproduction. *

I understand that someone must be present and working my booth for the duration of the event. I understand that I have 3 hours for load-in, and 2 hours for load-out, and agree to be set up in a timely manner. I agree to not be late, and to keep my booth in operation for the entirety of the event. *

Vendors, Remembering Sam Ford, SamFest, SOPA Competition Groups, The Studio of Performing Arts, and its officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, volunteers, shareholders, agents, and affiliates (collectively “The Indemnified Parties) hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold each other harmless from and against any and all losses, liabilities, suits, claims, obligations, costs, expenses (including but not limited to property damage, personal injuries, and attorneys’ fees) arising from actual claims of causes of actions from any part against The Indemnified Parties arising from Vendor’s negligence or willful misconduct; provided that such indemnity obligation shall not apply to any losses, liabilities or claims arising from The Indemnified Party's own negligence or willful misconduct. Any payment under this section for any losses, liabilities, and claims shall be limited to the amount of any liability or damages that remains after deducting any insurance proceeds and any indemnity, contribution, or similar payment received by the Indemnified Party(ies) in respect of any indemnity claim. The Indemnified Parties shall also hold each other harmless in the event of sudden illness, injury, acts of God, or situations out of the control of The Indemnified Parties.

If SamFest is canceled, the Vendor will receive a full refund. If the Vendor cancels on SamFest within 7 days of the event, the $50 vendor fee is non-refundable. Otherwise it will be refunded in full. *
