On Saturday, November 7, 2020, the annual Remembering Sam Ford Benefit Concert took place virtually online via Zoom.

Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of friends and live entertainment, while raising funds for a good cause.

Yes, THE Tom Higgenson from Plain White T's performed at our 10th annual benefit concert.

Remembering Sam Ford organizers were on hand to sell Remembering Sam Ford T-shirts, tank tops, tote bags, sweat pants, and bracelets. In addition, a live auction took place for the chance to win exciting prizes from local businesses. The event also featured booths from sponsors All State and LulaRoe by Heather Strausburg.

If you were unable to attend the event, please consider contributing to our Remembering Sam Ford Fund and make an online donation today!

Proceeds from this event go towards the Remembering Sam Ford dance scholarships, which is presented in Sam’s name to young deserving dancers at The Studio of Performing Arts in Grover Beach, Sam's childhood dance studio. Studio owner Shannon Lowrie will solicit submissions from current students about why they love to dance. Remembering Sam Ford organizers read the submissions and determine the scholarship recipients.

In addition, proceeds are donated to The Pablove Foundation, which funds pediatric cancer research and advances in treatment, educates and empowers cancer families, and improves the quality of life for children living with cancer through hospital play, music, and arts programs.

A special thanks to our sponsor!
